Welcome back to regular blog posts! I’m so excited to share with you the 2024 Astrology and as we close out 2023, there is especially interesting energy swirling around in this cosmos, as I write we are still amidst a Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius & Capricorn and Mercury will not leave post-retrograde shadow until the 21st of January 2024. Luckily, we will experience two important stations in the last week of December 2023 to help us move into the new year.
Chiron, known as the Wounded Healer Asteroid will have stationed direct on the 27th of December at 15’27” degrees Aries. Chiron Retrograde has been encouraging re-healing of wounds that we expected to have move past, especially that to do with being maintaining autonomy and chasing our dreams. Chiron retrograde has been initiating a lot of healing energy for healing our own past and for the last few months, many have been focused on this healing. Later on the 31st, Jupiter will be stationing direct at 5’25” degrees of Taurus, in a sextile to Saturn in Pisces. With Jupiter Retrograde you may have been internally thinking about your inner beliefs and now she's going direct you will be able to see how the change on the inside of beliefs is really going to change your outward experience. On January 27th, Uranus will also station direct bringing more forward and outwardly rebellious energy to the fore-front, just in time for Pluto to re-enter Aquarius!
Pluto will be moving into Aquarius and this is really big energy, you will not see Pluto through every sign in your lifetime, so Pluto making a shift into Aquarius will be especially big and obvious compared to looking at our lives back in 2008, when Pluto entered Capricorn. We actually had a preview of Pluto in Aquarius and this was experienced around the 23rd of March in 2023 to the 11th of June 2023, we can expect that themes and events would have happened around that time and where your mind would have been will be coming back around! Pluto went retrograde and dived back into Capricorn on the 2nd of May and due to this shift, there is more that needs to be healed around Capricorn in our chart. If you have any personal planets here, expect transformative upgrades before we can make that move into Pluto in Aquarius.
Pluto will re-enter Aquarius on the 21st of January 2024 and on the same day, the sun will move into Aquarius. This is going to be especially strong energy, especially with the sun involved here, there is tangible, emotional and physical ties to a transformation that is being sensed. This will actually need to slowly take place over the next 20 years. Also, as mentioned earlier in this post, the trickster planet Mercury will be finally leaving post-retrograde shadow - this is really important here to occur all on the same day. There was information that needed to be revealed and experiences that needed to occur over the 2023 Holiday-time, so it can be reintegrated and re-healed. With this renewed information, thanks to Mercury Retrograde we can finally begin to move forwards as we end out January.
Through-out 2024, Pluto will station retrograde on the 3rd of May 2024 and move back into Capricorn again on the 12th of October. Pluto will then station direct on the 12th of October 2024 at 29 degrees, she will be back in Capricorn for the final time and this is the exception and I need to stress, this is a rare event for us in our lifetime. With Pluto being in Aquarius for the next 20 years we can expect to see deep reflection and transformation for technology, electricity, astrology, science, technology and AI. The generation that will be born under Pluto in Aquarius will be so enlightened, they will be ingenious inventors and that's what we need in society at this time. This is the time for innovative thinkers, who are very Aquarian, the structures that make up humanity are to be renewed, and that is what is being called right now under Pluto in Aquarius.
Also in 2024, there is amazing energy of Jupiter ingressing into Gemini! Jupiter will enter her detriment, however this will be a more positive time for mercurial people, overall! Jupiter can often over-do it, especially without the tools she needs and in Mercury the details can be bigger than they need to be. Through-out 2024, we may need to be thinking more logically for what we are reading and consuming as problematic issues in the Media may be coming to light throughout the year. On the 21st of April, we will have a beautiful conjunction of Jupiter in Taurus with Uranus in Taurus, and then on the 18th of May, Venus will also bless Uranus in Taurus in a conjunction - then at the 26th of May, Jupiter will enter Gemini until the 10th of June 2025!!! Jupiter moving into Gemini is going to bring a great energy for writing, for traveling and adventure. With Jupiter moving into a Mercurial sign, we are going to see more publications and more movies all to do with communication, siblings, twins and all things Gemini. I want to even predict that in 2024 we will have more UFO disclosure documents coming out, with Pluto in Aquarius, which is going to be making positive aspects to Jupiter in Gemini all year long.
I have great news for those that may have had experienced really challenging events for relationships in 2023, due to Venus retrograde. We will NOT be experiencing Venus station retrograde in 2024, however what we will be experiencing in 2024 is a massive Mars retrograde! Mars is going to retrograde in the signs Leo and Cancer, what we can expect is that we are being re-charged and our personal energy is going to be refocused for the better! Mars will begin her pre- retrograde Shadow period on the 5th of October 2024, and Mars retrograde won't begin until the 7th of December at 6’10” degrees of Leo trine the North Node in Aries. This is a really powerful really igniting spark type of energy, especially for fire signs, Scorpio, Leo & Cancer! Mars retrogrades are a long drawn out process and this retrograde will be affecting us all the way until the 2nd of May 2025 at 4 p.m. Australian Eastern Standard time. Mars retrograde brings uncomfortable feelings up regarding passions, past endings, strength, past choices and how we move in life, so they can be purged and released. We may experience strong FATIGUE too, as we are moving our energy from places that no longer serve. If we've put all of our energy and all of our eggs in one basket, due to the North Node in Aries, during this time of Mars retrograde in 2024 - we will need to reel it back in. There might be a separation event that comes up with this Mars retrograde - especially for Mars ruled and day chart persons. Take it easy and plan lightly for the end of 2024, with this Mars retrograde in Leo and Cancer.
