We begin this week with the balsamic or waning crescent Moon, as we are leading up to the New Moon in Virgo. On Monday morning the Moon will ingress into heart centred, success focused Leo. The Moon in Leo will form a sextile to Mars in Libra, early in the week, and this looks like be offered an opportunity to share what our expectations are surrounding harmony and balance for the future. Mars will feel uncomfortable in Libra, however thanks to a sextile to Venus, engaging in this energy can bring great positive growth and freedom for future cycles.
Tuesday is where the action is for the Moon in Leo, as it will conjoin Venus in Leo, square Jupiter Retrograde, and finally, the Moon as we end Tuesday will make a trine to Chiron Retrograde. All September long, we can expect that there will be an ongoing theme of integration due to the Venus Retrograde story. We have all changed immensely during the Venus Retrograde, what and where we were focusing during Venus Retrograde in Leo will all be settling and solidifying change now, especially to do with our inner feelings and values.
It can be easy right now to feel like creating or focusing on drama to distract from inner pain. Venus is in shadow encouraging a slow but needed focus on needing balance, and what comes of this, will be up to our true intentions. Many of us may be feeling extra tired and drained as we integrate these inner changes. The New Moon in Virgo will feel like a sense of release and will come exact Friday the 15th around 11am approximately AEST, and will trine Uranus Retrograde in Taurus. With the ruler of Virgo, Mercury due to station direct the day following the New Moon, these celestial events are working together to allow us to embrace and create containers for new beginnings in caring for the self and others. We are being encouraged to ground in, surrender and keep the balance between two worlds during the New Moon in Virgo. The New Moon in Virgo at 21 degrees will oppose Neptune Retrograde and by sign, saturn Retrograde in Pisces.
The Virgo archetype depicts purity, and under the New Moon there is great renewed energy surrounding us, that we can use to enhance fertility and encourage a balanced transition where Virgo rules in our Natal chart. Following the New Moon, on Saturday, the Moon will ingress into balanced and harmonious Libra just before Mercury stations direct at 8 degrees of Virgo. Later on Saturday, the Sun in Virgo will trine Uranus Retrograde in Taurus. Where Virgo is in our natal charts part will begin to balance and come together from Saturday onwards, this week. This will be an ongoing process with Mercury Shadow not due to end until the 30th of September. We’re no longer scared to get things together and in order.
The Rest of this month will feel more direct as things may begin to fall into place. However, there may be a slight anxiety about moving forward at this time. It is important to remember that currently the majority of our Outer planets are Retrograde (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter) so right now, most of the organising will be internal, until much later in the year.
